Yes. we have a functioning HOA. Lake Hollyhill Owners Association, Inc, a Texas non-profit corporation, was chartered in 1968 to manage the common properties of Lake Hollyhill Acres Subdivision, which was set up in 1966.

There are two ways to pay your HOA dues.
1. You can mail the dues to PO BOX 524, Plantersville, TX 77363
2. If we have your email on file, we can send a link to pay them by credit card online (for a fee), or you can send via Zelle to lhoa_pltx@mail.com (for free).
Lake Hollyhill is a private lake jointly owned by the landowners of the subdivision. In Texas, anglers who fish privately owned water bodies are not required to hold a state fishing license subject to permission of the private owners. All Homeowner/Members of Lake Hollyhill in good standing and their guests can fish the lake without a state permit.
We have very limited authority to control architecture as long as the building size, septic capacity and setbacks are as outlined in the Deed Restrictions. There is no authority to control landscaping, including tree removal, as long as the result is not a nuisance to your neighbors.
No, short-term rentals (less than 30 days) through a website such as Airbnb are a business, and are not allowed under section C-1 of the Deed Restrictions, which limit land use to "residential purposes". Long term leases or normal rentals are a residential use and are allowed.
